A developer with a $40million game bugdet will make a better game focused on or two consoles. Now spend that amount on 5 consoles and you will see a hit in quality. It's just the way things work.
The more players in the game the less quality you get out of developers. Journalists should be careful with what they wish for.

only the best developers will show the power of next gen. Both are powerful. Who has the best developers with an actual track record? Those developers will show the actual difference between the two consoles. Just like this gen. if both consoles achieve 1080p as a standard everyone wins from a gamer standard and industry standard seeing as mainstream tv's only go to 1080p.
They might not be in position to make those demands if ps4 has a larger install base.
I always thought the platform with with the biggest install base was lead platform.

You are right. I meant in general. Fanboys of both sides suck and make it hard to reason with people. Ms in no way shape of form won gamescom. Never once did I praise Sony either they won by default for showing more NEW games announced than Ms. All around a lack luster gamescom.

You are right I was just discussing things not to trying to be a hater. Some apps are cool and some are a fad.
I wasn't hating to the disagreers. Im old school and like my system to just play games. I recognise people like this stuff even if it isn't for me. lighten up im buying a ps4 day 1
port or not. it's still a major game added to the vitas library of games. ports aren't bad beacause it expands a games user base and profits. downplaying something is childish.
Apps are becoming more relevant on consoles. Maybe a blessing or a curse depending on support for them

You are absolutely correct. We going from 720p and mostly lower to native 1080p that in its self is a lot of info. Not to mention 5gb and 7gb so far of the system ram and developers are going to make larger worlds. Games are going to take up a lot of space.
i dislike the open world/sandbox snob. i love those games but to say linear games sucks is just stupid. people don't have to like linear games but give a little bit of respect to those that do.
