Sony JUST realized the damn thing was too expensive(hence the fall price cut), and they are STILL trying to get a great user-friendly service going(even though HOME has been delayed over a year now...Xbox has had it right from the start), so theres no telling what other improvements they are over-looking.

Anyway, I dont know if it will be anything close to as great as the DS, especially with all the great DS games out there. I can see it beating out a PSP(3g web browsing vs wifi, 3g Voice network vs. wifi-based skype, ect) but that wouldnt be the case if sony would get focused on making the PSP a gaming handheld FIRST.
Just so many things out there that beat out this Iphone, you just never really see them b/c of the...

Not only are they FASTER, LIGHTER, AND MORE POWERFUL----but you dont have to sit around like a complete douchebag, talking to other people about your Iphone and how cool it is every second of every day.
Plus, Blackberries(even the curve series) are very open sourced, and most of the apps you find ...
living off sequels? its not my fault the 360 has so many Great Original exclusives. And there are ALOT of new original exclusive titles coming out. PS FB's have been thriving off of the MGS series for a while now, and youre hoping it will help the PS3 in sales.
Its gonna take alot more than one good game. Its gonna take several---all of which need to have great replay value(multiplayer, ect) or else people will borrow or rent the games instead of buying.

This is a good example of needing to researching your hardware sales before you make such a statement. So instead of trying to insult you and talk trash about PSP(cause I own both and I like my PSP), I'm just gonna ask you to do a little research. The truth might come as a shock to you. I'll give you a hint as to what you might find: The PSP is not leading the DS at all in Hardware OR software sales---not in 2008 or 2007(not even worldwide)....
