Yeah PSN is free, so there shouldnt really be many complaints, but there are bound to be some people who can help but be upset about it. I say "You Get What You Pay For". So if it goes down, Scheduled or NOT scheduled, dont complain....just play offline or get some friends together and have a LAN party. I've never had one with my PS3, but I'm sure it can be done. I know my 360 does it.

@siligon: those are some great titles. But thats the amount the DS puts out in like 6 months. lol. I think that better games with better online support and play, will take this machine to where it needs to be. The only problem I could see, is it depends on wifi, and 9 times out of 10, if youre around dependable wifi---youre prolly at home already, in which case many would rather play their PS3's, Wii's, and 360's.

With improved Hardware, and a cheaper price, it'll a great machine.
I bought my PS3 from WalMart, but I should have bought it from Craigslist, alot of people are selling their PS3's for cheap.

The DS is way WAY ahead. But thats not important. Sony should get serious about GAMES on the PSP, nothing else. The DS didnt get to where it is now by enticing people with Skype or GPS. They have cellphones that do both of those, ALOT better. I want GAMES for my PSP. Games that are great online and offline. Hell, they could make alot of money with an awesome FPS or MMO.
Bottom line, I want my PSP to earn its place in my pocket. Until then, i'll still loan it out to friends, so...
This and the features "HOME" will bring to the PS3, should have been there from the start. I wouldnt have waited almost a year to get one if that had been the case. And HOME better not suck, especially with all the freaking time being spent on it.
but i cant wait to check it out. Halo needed more to the story, it needed a REAL ending.
