Woah! Thanks for the info. Didnt know that facts, really. But, as you can see, I'm not talking about power, but performance. Dont you find strange that, in the last gens, consoles broke more than before? Funny enough, the underpowered Wii is the only console that's not reporting a RROD o YLOD problem.
Those were the days... and RPG's with good story thanks of the use of "long" texts, not "let's package all story within 3 hours" cutscenes.
My NES is still working. My SNES is still working. The cartridges are still saving. My gamecube is still working. My PS1 and PS2 have, bot of them, their lenses replaced. My 360 is red-dead.
Am I missing something?
SNES had, like, 0.0000001 power of actual consoles and still had long, great games.

I dont know what is expecting here. A console is -basically- a processor, ram, GPU, hard drive, all packed togheter in board and encapsulated in a box. Yes, that thing is also known as a COMPUTER. This guy's saying that he wants multicore, more ram, more gpu, and more bandwith. I see all of those as a OBVIOUS evolution of actual consoles.
That guy is Captain Obvious, and all the pople here saying "basically a PC..." well, what else were you expecting it to be?

For me, the worst "innovation" is that stupid regenerative healt. I remember old times, when everyone said "we always find weird that a little box can replenish all you healt". Well, In these times, all we need is crouch and wait. And, then magically, it works.

Nintendo franchises that gets only one or two games per console. Not only that, they're always awesome games. I'm not talking about spin-offs, since it's not a duty to buy'em.
As an example (and NOT offending, just as a point of view) Uncharted get 3 games in a single console. COD gets even more. They're not bad games by any mean, but, if numbers of games in time are what matter, well... you get the point.

Playtime like "15 minutes long cutscenes" or "get to point a to point b. No, you cannot teleport, and there's no run button" or REAL playtime?

I'm pretty sure my disagree count will be high like crazy, but I find that every single creature if those games, have more design that the most detailed human in any videogame.

WiiU controller comes with a gyroscopy. And yes, you can shake it, tilt it, move it. In a different way (search for videos of the garden demo) but, there they are. Motion controller, that's it.
