Interesting. But kinda redundant. The whole MGS universe is messed up nuff without you added this to its mix :P
FIFA 16 Luv. Its simply a more refined game. 'Realistic' be damned.
Don't think it matters. If Kojima is as big as they come, some other studio will pick him up or he simply freelances for other AAA studios. Either ways, it paints Konami as a sucker when it comes to the gaming community and as a future partner with upcoming titles.
TL DR: Kojima may or may not lose. Konami will absolutely lose in both situations.
Don't think they are targetting casuals. I think it gives the impression of a "premium" Xbox experience that might have people reconsidering it. Microsoft has always been good at repricing consoles into tiers that cater to different needs. Look at the Xbox 360 core edition/ 4gb slim model and the elite models.
Joke of a product from a company that is fast becoming a joke. Match made in heaven.
Hey, sorry about that. I fixed it. Seems like a typo from the author. ;)
Nailed it. Keep the likes flowing now guys! :P
Let me rephrase: It will cost less for Microsoft to produce which would translate into the better bundled offers or advertising out of what must be a massive budget increase.
A refresh that looks better, costs less and might move away from the stigma of being the "outdated" console. Sure it wont matter much to a researched individual, but for most consumers, a new design means something is considered to be "updated". I don't mean to insult the bulk of N4G's audience which is more or less very well versed with what their consoles can do or what they think they can do, but for most mindless shoppers, NBA/FIFA/COD junkies, its enough to tu...
We don't know the backstory, but it seems unfair to launch what would be Kojima's last title with Konami without giving due credit to the genius behind the entire MGS franchise and more simply due to some internal disputes.
It's about value for money vs being first in line for a lot of goodies. I guess games like COD etc etc, you have to effectively pay for the season pass one way or the other to get something good going.
I personally think the developers are getting greedy to the point that it reflects in the "compartmentalized" games we get. DLC also offers a lot more flexible income for developers when it comes to the 2nd hand game market. That being said, shipping a complete game with optional unlock codes basically makes this one hell of a shitty experience.
Think Shield was a great device, they just aimed too high at a very small audience. Microsoft on the other hand has the infrastructure and money to make this happen in a heartbeat. I would actually be surprised if they dont corner their most lucrative market this time around.
lost orbit seems like an indie i would play provided it has some sort of a stable narrative.
I dont think anything above Fifa 14 warrants an upgrade to tbh. Women's team doesnt really get them any points either.
Don't think they have to be exclusive :)
Yep, I have 5, up from 3. So does just about everyone else here. :)
Personally, its probably the first Xbox One game I'm going to buy day one after a long break. After Ryse, you can forgive me for not going nuts over even timed exclusives.
Personally, I dont think it is worth the price tag it comes with. If it were priced aggressively at say $50, it would be a compelling buy but at any price north of $100, it is simply not paying for itself over time. It is more of a gimmick than a useful device at that price.
Not a bad concept. But given their recent issues with PSN re-emerging already, I don't think they are interested in opening up another potential security disaster in the making as a front to their customers.
