I think if you can get the same on your PC and also with Xbox controller support to boot coupled with SSDs removing the very advantage that consoles have - quick boot and no-nonsense launches plus the entire Xbox catalog, one would only go for a PS4 and a PC. The article's actual title: "Microsoft Corporation's Windows 10 Vision May Cannibalize the Xbox in the Long Run" reflects this far more bluntly.

I think UC4 has potential when it comes to single player DLC despite the first time it is happening for the Uncharted series. It could also be an essential benchmark for the industry in the near future much like the main game will be.

Yeah, most of the stuff comes from 3rd party sites that claim that DX 12 will magically "give" the Xbox One the edge via some MLG-Tier software tweaks and tend to ignore that most console games already are optimized to the point that they code to the metal as opposed to PC games. DX 12 is a PC-centric release. I dont feel the XB1 will have any tangible gains here irrespective of the hype.

God Of War 4 is pretty much a done deal given that it is a logical conclusion once the PS4 is a force to be reckoned with. Sucker Punch needs to do a lot more to impress here imho.

Yes and no. Most impulse buyers have made their pick. An uninformed gamer would actually consider the PS4 a superior choice. I expect titles to move the Xbox One sales more than anything. What the PS4 does is simply undercut the Xbox One's potential given its' perception of being a superior console. I understand Gabe's position and 2GD's position too. Valve watched reddit with an eagle's eye. James was told to cool it down multiple times. China is a foreign market that valve does not want to irritate and their policy has more to do with the financials of it all than anything else. 2GD did not have to tweet anything until he got the all-clear from valve.
