I mean exactly what I said.
And the fact is, that developers can count on 100% of the people who buy an Xbox One to have a Kinect on hand, whether it has tape over it, its unplugged, or sitting there primed, ready to use.
You misunderstand the reason for letting people unplug the censor. Its to appease know-nothing, flag waving southerner...
Personally, I'm excited to see what they can do with it with 100% adaptation, and I'm extremely excited to finally have a Kinect as part of my setup.
The idea that I can activate the console without a controller, and it can sign me in by looking at me/recognizing my voice... very cool. I'm the sort of person who spends 50% of the time on my XB360 listening to music or watching Netflix. That's 50% of the time where I would rather not have to be clutching my con...
Thats the other thing. I thought there was glare on my screen... until I realized that they are just super-charging the lens flares.
Cut the crappy effects... so far I'm not impressed.
"The idea that you can let them do anything they want to you is ridiculous"
But they DIDNT do whatever they wanted. lol. I mean, come on, that's a no brainer... your arguing a hypothetical situation that never happened, for the very reasons it didn't happen. Angst much?
"but hey, remember that Killer Instinct demo?"
I don't even know what your referring to, lol. I have not seen nor heard anything negative about...
Hm. Capitalism works. Whoda thunk it?
MS is not your daddy. They are a consumer electronics/software company. They can try whatever they want, they can listen to peoples reactions, and they can change their plans accordingly.
The idea that you feel they need your "forgiveness" is ridiculous. The idea that your so emotionally invested in this whole thing that "forgiving them" is even in your vocabulary is ridiculous. Take the Xbox for what...
Doesn't overclocking void the warranty... so its basically illegit anyways? Why would MS design their OS around overclocking websites? Maybe I'm missing something.
I can't make sense of this. Anyone...?
Looks good... but I couldn't help but be pissed off by the impossibly windy place that the game happens to be set in.
Do they expect me to believe that every bit of foliage is stuck in its own private hurricane?
Oh get a sense of humor. When Sony did all of those low-ball "this is how you share games" videos, you were probably all over it in hysterics. And that was the CEO's and lead designers. This is Official Xbox Magazine. As much involved with the development/promotion of Xbox One as a piece of provolone cheese.
The hypocrisy is SICKENING! *hurls chunks*
ahaha that was genuinely hilarious.
My favorite part was "adventurous gamers will plug the Xbox One into itself"...
ahahaha, this guys a freak.
@negative
Boing... bong... or.... both? :D
My day-1 Kinect will have trouble discerning the difference between my boing and my 20 inch bong.
Yeah, I went there.
Yeah its dumb... unless you're actually excited about the prospect of an all-in-one entertainment box.
For me, the XB1 offers everything that I have been dreaming of for the past 8 years while my X360/PS3 have been tripping over themselves. And more.
My cousin is making the switch from Xbox to Playstation in the next generation. He's not the smartest penny in the fountain, but his reason is good.
He told me he wants a gaming console, ...
"why push us away from something that's readily available and easily accessible to everyone?"
:p
These comments reek of desperation.
"Titanfall will probably be coming to PS4, and besides, PS4 will have more games once they are announced."
Seems like a lot of mights and probablys.
Both consoles will be awesome, and both consoles will have great games. No need to justify your purchasing decisions with a bunch of BS.
And no doubt they will.
I find it strange how people expect that MS should bullishly confront any rumour that surfaces immediately and head on.
Did anyone ever consider that MS has its own plans for how/when they plan to announce/confirm information regarding their unreleased platform? I think they are wise to hold some of their cards. Lord knows that their competition is champing at the bit for any morsal of information that they can opportunistically levera...
@Sepctic
lol
anywhoo... this game is going to be awesome. Wish it was a launch day title, but at least I know I have something to look forward to in 2014.
I really enjoyed the first Homefront. The online mode was/is great... 64 players online on console, I think. Or something big, anyways.
I was surprised at how fun it was once I tried it. I think a lot of people write it off based on hearsay.
Polls show that people who say "Umad Bro" are pissed off.
As has been the case with all digital games on both consoles under every announced usage model.
Not "illegal"... just not legitimate as far as licensing and warranty protection...
