I think the prompts actually contributed to feeling you were engaging more in simple stuff like opening doors and moving objects, you felt you were doing the actions instead of a character in a game doing them.
Yeah, that's interesting, I think you have to go into it from the perspective it's an adventure game, not an action game, I do hope they've tweaked the tank controls somewhat though.
