With console gaming you can go out and buy ANY game for your system and it's guaranteed to work full speed full spec etc.. You dont have to check out system specs before you buy a game.
PC gaming you buy/build a top of the range PC which is great for 6 months, you then buy the latest game and it don't work at full speed max res, full particle effect etc because your gfx card is getting old and not compatible with DX16 and you only have 5ghz quad core cpu,4gb of ram & 1TB ...
I totally gree with Riksweeney... Gta was way way overhyped fun for 1hour then back in its box it went and its still there today. DLC for this game is too late..... I would definatly not pay for any DLC nor would i buy the game for the DLC when its available, they have missed the boat. It should have been released 2 months or 3 max after the game was out not a year later.
There are way better games out there to spend your cash on and this isn't one of them.
At least they had the sense to ask for help from Sony and get what they are trying to achieve, unlike other companies who have no time to reprogram code and just publish it as it comes - hence inferior ports.
If all companies just took a few weeks of Sony's help and guidance, they would all have better results all round which would lead to more sales and most importantly a better understanding of the architecture their programming for. After all PS3 is NOT like a PC so stop porting fro...
What difference does it make what it looks like ? Its placed behind the console out of sight anyway... Oh and its features blow away the dvbs thats available for similar cost.

I know everyone complained about going back to WW2 but this is looking amazing...As i said in a previous post about W@W ages ago, Don't slate it until you've played it, I've had full faith in Treyarch with this game (COD3 wasn't as bad as people made out) and i think that they have just RAISED the bar DRASTICALLY !! They have created a masterpiece and even added COOP campaign aswell as improving on the mighty COD4.
A DEFINITE BUY NOT TO BE MISSED...

Im sorry to have to say this but NO game deserves a 10/10 score.
All games have issues in them somewhere, which after a few hours of play will stand out and become annoying or obvious.
There is no game thats perfect, some are pretty close but non are perfect and all games can and will be improved in time. If a game gets 8/10 i would consider that pretty bloody good and worth the cash. Also 5/10 is average so its worth a look anything below 5/10 shouldnt be sold for more than &#...

Consoles = EVERY game that is released for your specific console you can play (except maybe X360 cores when a hdd IS req'd)
PC's = New game comes out and you have to upgrade to play it. New gfx card, more memory, faster cpu etc etc.
Myself like many others are sick of upgrading to play a new game on PC thats only 3 months old. Thats why there will ALWAYS be consoles.
Hmmm Im not convinced with this game, I think it'll look better than it plays and very linear ish and after a few games VERY repetitive. I hope im wrong but we'll have to wait and see.

Yeah Cheap if you got it from Morrisons for £25 But overall its much more fun than GTA4, both single and multiplayer. GTA4 was all about hype it FAILED big time. There was no hype with this game and i wasnt expecting too much from it, but coop is where this shines its great fun and practically lag free (gta4 has been out for at least 6 month and they still havent fixed the lag and connection issues)
Looking at all the dissagrees going on here it looks like the Xbox fanboys have stormed the place lol very sad
I must admit that both consoles have lots of good games coming over the next 12months but you must admit the PS3 has by far the best line up..
I must admit to download a few pc games in my time but overall i think it helps companies sell more games.. For example i like my FPS and download (well used to anyway) all the latest games, the majority of them i enjoyed so much i purchased them so i could play them online. However there are a few games that are just too bad to buy and its these that im pleased i downloaded first. Its the companies that add the protection to their games that screw up everyones computers. That should be made illegal and they should be held responsible for any repair costs the customer should incur while installing the software they paid for legally. Im not approving piracy as i does affect the production of new games in some way, but we also shouldn't have to pay £40 for utter rubbish with is released every year ie fifa, madden etc.. Ive watched the videos and it looks really good fun BUT how does it compare to MGO ? as they look very similar... MGO is let down drastically by the ammount of shots it takes to kill someone unless you are lucky enough to get a head shot. What is Socom like in this department ? as i hope its not going to be as MGO with headshots because its way too frustrating after you empty a clip into someone and they turn round with 1 shot and your history
EVERYONE with a ps3 and has more than 2 brain cells will own this game from day 1 and those who havent will buy the Killzone 2/ PS3 bundle on that same day. So I cant see any point as to why they would release a demo the same day the retail game is available.
