130mn copies sold and counting suggest it still is a killer app, even 7 years later. Gta V is a juggernaut amongst ants. That's why Sony started their presentation with a 7 year old game, because they know there's no franchise bigger in entertainment than it. If R* released a picture with just VI written on it, the internet would crash.
Gaming is a luxury, no-one is forcing you to do a damn thing.
Wouldn't you if it's still a top 5/10 seller worldwide every year? It has sold over 130 million copies now and is still continuing to sell at an extraordinary rate. By the time GTA 6 is out, 5 will probably have sold 160/70/80mn copies which is mindboggling.
Real racing game fans would enjoy both.

Have fun paying nearly 1/3 more for new releases. Also, I bought Cod: MW for £43 during launch, received it a day early and then 7 months later sold it for £40 on eBay. Digital is good when there is heavy discounts, otherwise it's pretty meh.

The doomsday heist glitch can net you a little over a million. I was getting a million every 25 minutes. I blew maybe 40mn in the game, 38 of it being from the glitch.
GTA VI will probably come out in 2024, sadly.
GoW and Bloodborne are my games of the generation.
