It needs to be optimized better for the PC. Too many slow downs on my high end rig, even with all the settings set to low, I'll still get 30 fps in some areas.

I just hope it's not so slow when in towns. FPS drops are irritating, especially when I have great FPS in areas with far more detail.

I like the term for fear of long words. It's ironically one of the longest words you'll ever see lol.
For me, this game is almost unplayable due to the ridiculous framrate drops in key locations. In the open world, I average 40-60 FPS on max settings. I enter Whiterun, and drop to 20-35. It's incredibly distracting and lowering the settings doesn't help at all, so no it's not my hardware.
I wish I could just play this game because everything else about it is amazing, but I can't get over this flaw.

I'd like something to fix the sharp fps drops in some areas.. Does anyone else get huge framerate drops when entering riverwood from the first entrance? I'm on pc btw.
