Aim for the head brosef, I actually find the game very fluid and easy to play.
Honestly, at the beginning of the round, roll and press triangle to pick up the FAL, it's fairly easy to kill people with it and short bursts with the AK, the M4 = full auto.

It's interesting to see people so excited for this game, I remember I got it when it first came out and really I was just going out on a limb, there wasn't much information about it other than Wikipedia and some minor media coverage it still turned out to be one of my favourite games of all time.
