What happened to Xbox? They over-milked the few ips they had, and over-hyped gimmick after gimmick.

I've been saying it for months: MS isn't competing with Sony for first place. MS is competing with Nintendo for second. Just accept facts. MS will NEVER beat Sony.

OT: Yes, the Xbox One is irrelevant. It has no exclusives, and it's getting replaced with the Scorpio. And this point, there is NO REASON to buy one.

The original PlayStation showed the world that video games weren't just "child's play". Sony showed us that games could be exiting, fun, and mature. Sony entering the market changed the video game industry forever.
tldr. Stop being salty and get a PS4 already. You'll be so busy playing great games, that you won't have time to write essays on N4G on why your salty.

Ubisoft has kinda earned the public's scorn. They have a lot of good ideas, but their execution is always half-assed. There's a good reason why their games don't win GOTY.
At this point, does it even really matter who's "free games" are better? I doubt people base their decision to buy a console based on what games Sony or MS decide to give away for free each month.

This is just MS trying to seem relevant in a month where it's two competitors both released amazing EXCLUSIVES. If Microsoft wasn't talking about Microsoft, then NO ONE would be talking about Microsoft.
