Thats all that needs to be said. The WiiU support from EA has actually been worse then with the Gamecube so far, so its unprecedented in that regard.
Who knows if it was a fallout between EA and Nintendo over certain issues thats. Or if EA just doesnt want to waste resources on a port with gamepad features, you cant say EA games have been selling very well on the WiiU.

Well they probably have all the assets of the game, it wouldnt be too far-fetched to see someone with TPS gameplay experience like Visceral continue the project. The game showed potential at E3 2012 and it would be a waste of money just to see it die, unless it is flawed from the core.
At this point i just think EA is doing a social experiment.
1 game with always online and no mod tools the other with offline play and mod tools. They are just seeing how much they can screw over gamers before they say this is enough.
