This is super disappointing news if true. So tired of the game industry right now. Was hoping for a bunch of new IPs with the new generation of consoles.
Been in the beta for a very very long time now, and I completely agree. The game hasn't gotten any better in any of the betas i have been in either so i dont have much hope for future events.

The graphics in this game are actually very good on high settings if you stop to take it all in, but the gameplay is, in my opinion, terrible. I have played the game many times and I can safely say it feel nothing like "ES with friends" or ES at all for that matter. Its like they thought adding really crappy, live-ish action combat and having all the ES races are the only things that make it ES.
Dude "it sells more" only works for Sony fanboys when they are defending their exclusives, don't you know that? On topic This is a super hard choice. I loved Morrowind, Ocarina of Time, and Dark Cloud 1 and 2 for the ps2 give me amazing trips down nostalgia lane. I also like alot of new games too like Dark Souls and Bioshock 1. Plus Halo 2 is my favorite mp games of all time easily. Tough decision right there.

Dang what an amazing year for games. All of those games deserve GOTY. I voted for GTA personally but TLOU and Bioshock come in at a very close second and I suspect Mario will as well.
The only thing GTA V fell short in imo was the MP, everything else far exceeded my hype.
I agree with gaffy, I doubt Ryse will be anything special but it would be really hard to top the linearity and sheer boredom that is Knack.

How is that review any more "real" than any other? It sounds like your just mad that most people that aren't blinded by the Sony logo think the game is garbage. Other than graphics that game is worse than Crash Bandicoot made nearly 20 years ago. Played it at Target yesterday, my god it was so bland its not even funny. BTW i'm not really impressed with either consoles launch lineup.

been in the beta for about a year and i can safely say that, other than the races, and being an rpg, the game is nothing like Skyrim.
