2 reasons:
1:FFXIV bombed. Last I heared it had shipped 600k copies worldwide and user reviews of the game around the world haven't been favorable. Some guy in Japan even photoshopped a mock funeral for the game.
2:FFXIV is currently free-to-play until the new team is done reworking it.So the company has to keep all the servers that run the game online in the meantime, which Im sure is quite expensive.

Troy Baker aced Mitsunari's voice. Wait until you unlock the last stage in Mitsunari's other path where he and Date exchange insults.
Anyway, Koei's DW series has always suffered from bad voice acting but Capcom got it right with Basara.
I hope to see the VA improve in DW7.
Why are people still buying FPS?
Kamiya can't work on Devil May Cry because he's not with Capcom any longer. Although he did tweet that if fans wanted it he'd work on the series again.
