What? Insomniac is a huge developer. If you mean they don't buy publishers so far that is correct but things can change.
I'm a Sony fan but that's not happening long term. Sony probably knows that too and this is what they feel like they have to say until they have a CoD competitor ready to go like their Firewalk Studios collaboration. I wonder how many years the CoD deal is for? Sony sounds confident about it.

Game Pass isn't financially sound except as a method to gain market share. Doesn't keep them from offering every lapsed sub $1/month deals. They have money to spend and they are spending it to create a loyal fan base.
You're forgetting to subtract all of the gaming revenue Sony gets from CoD and the added revenue Microsoft is likely to get for other 3rd party titles from the CoD crowd following them to Xbox.
