I don't think you're getting me. The PS4 version looks last gen. The PS5 version looks better than any game ever made and by a wide margin.

It's all scalable. Not to mention the characters in Forbidden West already look better than this although they chose a more stylized look over complete realism.
What are you talking about? This is just some guy messing around with the presets. Every Unreal 5 dev could use this easily. Even a child could do it. That's the entire point of it.

@nevin1 I meant the PS5. Go back and watch the PS5 videos and you will see this is not some lazy cross Gen port. The PS5 is being utilized to its fullest. This game is even better looking than stunners like Demon's Souls and Rift Apart.
Yeah, it's a shame so many people probably never played the frozen wilds DLC. It could have been released as a stand alone game for a small price and won awards.

Play the DLC too. The snow effects are awesome and the difficulty ramps up from the new dinos.
Well given how in the first paragraph you admit you have no eye for detail what you say in your second paragraph doesn't carry much weight. There are clearly huge cutbacks in resolution, draw distance, texture quality, polygon count, lighting, alpha effects, and particle effects between ps4 pro and PS5. No doubt it will also run at half the frame rate as well.
I can't wait to play this beautiful game! The PS5 has yet another jaw dropping showcase!

I mean, how could they? They will however force NPC storefronts into every game they can. There is nothing as immersion breaking as an NPC trying to get you to spend real world money on cosmetics. I blame Bioware for it. They introduced that crap in their games to the detriment of us all.
Looks good but definitely last gen. Amazing how many PS5 improvements there are. Guerilla have really squeezed the PS5 for all its worth. I've never seen such a beautiful and dynamic world brought to life in a video game! 😍
I enjoyed the game but it started out too simple and easy. If the entire game was as intense and challenging as the last 20% it would have been a 10/10 experience.
