It's easy to see what MS are up to. What buisness model do we know that has a digital distribution service backed up by hardware which the eventual goal of said hardware is to play the full cataloge of games available on the service hmmmmmm.
My opinion is that MS overloads Media oulets with junk news just to keep attention on Xbox. No such thing as bad press they say.

If it did happen it would be a partnership that both companies would benefit from. The real question would be, does that make steam Xbox or make xbox1 a steam machine?
@EdMcglone most of the games we play online are not made by sony/Ms they are made by third party devs. I doubt sony/Ms are sharing the money they make for charging to play online with those companies.
Why do I have to pay them to use my own internet. I feel the same way about door fees to get into a club. I go to the bar to buy your Drinks just like I buy xb1 then buy their games why am I paying a cover charge. Yes they still charge when there's no band, see what I did there.
Yeah I mean we should definitely fault all of Sony tech support for one bad tech support person.
Oculus is for the pc not console so its not a valid comparison console hardware is static most pc users will have to upgrade to take full advantage of oculus.
@angieD how exactly did the hardware in my xb1 improve when its the same as the day I bought it.
If only there where a platform where your particular choice of hardware didn't give the hardware maker full control of how and with who you enjoy your game. Seriously I own all three current gen. consoles and a gaming pc isn't anyone else tired of sony and microsoft dictating third party titles console exclusives aside why do we let them buy timed exclusivity and divide us from one another online.

How do PS owners show them? I guess they should all buy the ps4 version in huge quantities, that will show Square and CD that sticking a knife in their backs is bad.

@boothammer I love games not hardware I could give two shakes about a piece of silicone and palstic. I do take issue when these platforms try to tell me how I will consume my games they can go pound salt I'm the consumer its my money. If you tell me I get no physical copy of a game and have to be online 24/7 I'll tell you where you can get off. I do however own both as MS changed its policies but had they not salt, hammer go pund it.
