I dont remember a single mainline FF game, You can 100% in less than 100hours (unless you rush it).
40hours for main story only, is a decent time.
For example star ocean 3 and 4 had ~40h stry time, yet 100% completion took hundreds of hours.
P.S. Yeah, Tabata confirmed, that 40 hours are without full world's exploration *relief*.

Ubi might as well have saved resources wasted on x360 version and made true current-gen game.
MS's mistake was to make it on x360 too, it will steal good junk of sales from X1.
In just 3 weeks they dropped to 1,3k. Without system sellers, they might just discontinue it there.

Even with 100% boost X1 is being Obliterated (no more fitting word can describe this).
X1 is fighting a hard battle for its place in USA, it has not time or power to compete in other regions.
