Funny that Hicken. The Vita was advertised from the very beginning as a AAA gaming device on the go. Now it's dwindled down to a mobile device with controls and the odd Otaku game for the odd Otaku gamer. I've been on the Vita bandwagon since launch and I know the difference between now and then. The Vita is on life support. Not dead yet, but on the borderline.
I am tired of all the defenses people like you throw at anyone that doesn't find the Vita to be the same...
I wasn't going to play the multiplayer even if this game would have it. Tomb Raider is all about the single player for me.
Getting two of these myself. I have never bought so many controllers for any console in my life. MS keeps making awesome controllers I want to buy!
I am also getting a second Xbox One, the Halo 5 console, and a couple Master Chief Controllers to go along with it.
It's a shame that no matter how good a game is, there will be a few cheap scores to stir up reaction. Happens all the time, especially expected in the age of pretty much anyone starting up some random WordPress blog with a name strikingly similar to Gaming Bolt.
This game is awesome though. Games like this further strengthen the fact that PS4 is all about variety.
The original Halo is how old? This is only the 5th mainline release. That's a poor attempt at milking if that's what they're trying to do. Activision and several other publishers are much better than MS at milking their big IPs.
Uncharted 4 will be GOTY 2016 easily. Very little doubt about that. Naughty Dog is by far the best developer on the planet. Also I hope they release a lot of DLC. I'll definitely buy all of them the first day they release.
Nah, it's bad for Sony. Sony won't make any money from letting people using their own material. It's a poor business decision to be honest. They should just continue charging money since it works very well.

Last year Sony only published two games, one in March and one in October. One is a total train wreck on launch also. Whatever you say about MS's holiday lineup, it's still far better than that 2014 lineup of Sony's. Delays of Uncharted 4 and Ratchet & Clank, two of the biggest Sony IPs, have dwindled this year's lineup.
So, who is a day late late and a dollar short again? Sony!

8+ games is ridiculous? News to me. He already bought a console that will have virtually all of the major third party games like Fallout and Call of Duty alongside MS' first party support. Why spend a lot of money on a console just for a small batch of exclusive games when you can just wait for more?

I am hoping for a Gears 4 custom elite bundle. That would make me buy my third Xbox One. I am definitely getting the Lunar White controller though!
I am getting the Halo 5 Limited Edition Xbox One. That is one of the nicest looking consoles I've ever seen. I am getting the Master Chief controller also. This is the most anticipated game for me this generation.

Much of that 400+ is optional. If that's too much, you can still enjoy the main quest line and some major side quests with fraction of that time and still get your money's worth. This is a very flexible game, with no wrong way of playing it. IMO, there isn't enough Fallout, so the answer is no from me also.
Quantum Break, Recore, Sea of Thieves, and Scalebound are not new IPs?

Ryse, Dead Rising, Plants vs. Zombies (first on Xbox One), Titanfall, Sunset Overdrive, Forza, Forza Horizon, Halo, etc. all have different genres/subgenres. How is that not variety? Admittedly it's not the best variety, but which consoles in history had so much amazing variety at the start? The PS4 certainly isn't one of them...

That is willful ignorance on show, Hicken. Most of the game is done on console, but the AI in multiplayer is enhanced by the cloud.
