Initially yes but sales will taper off rapidly after the small core of fanboys buy it. Lets not forget Phil himself stated it was marketed towards a specific group, which isn't the entire xbox fan base, not even close.
I have no doubt Sony will sell a ton more PS4's when this game comes out. It looks incredible.

Actually to me the game just looks kind of meh, and 4k on xbone x doesn't appear to be helping.
PS5 will do native 8k, 55 million tera farts, unlocked frame rates, communicate with satellites in space, play 8k bluray movies, do your taxes, call you an Uber, and fully support holographic games as that's what will be next once the VR fad wears off. But PSN will still suck.
Have to disagree the xbone x does "true" 4k, I know cause Microsoft told me so. You just have to change your understanding of the word true.

They may have showcased fewer titles overall but that was ok because with all the multii-plats Microsoft showed they let Microsoft do it for them, which meant more time for Sony's stellar exclusives. Sony may only be one step ahead but its one massive step.
