The minor difference between Timed DLC and Exclusive is that one is 'Temporary' and the other won't ever be available for 'Forever-And-Ever-And-Ever '?
Seems like a huuuge difference imo.

No, PC gaming is alive and well. Living comfortably in a cosy cottage in the mountains with a cat, and a horse and a stew on the stove, were he will live happily ever after.
END OF STORY!

Now, let's not hear any more about it, ok?

Wow, that is the most annoying voice I've ever heard..

This guy's journalistic abilities been touched by Sony then?

You're very welcome

They're all good games(Maybe not Red Steel), but if I had too choose 1 or 2, I'd say go with either Dark Messiah(PC version) or Escape from Butcher Bay(First Riddick game), which is a little on the stealth side, but should be played nevertheless.

Or if you're just looking for a an "arcade" brawler check out Zeno Clash. Trippy art style in that game btw.

Hope that helps :)

Sure there are:
Dark Messiah
Arx Fatalis
E.Y.E Devine Cybermancy
Zeno Clash
The Riddick games
Red Steel 1 & 2
Die by the Sword

Not to mention the first two Thief games, that had some really fantastic meele combat(even though you usually ended up on the receiving end of the sword)

And that's just games I can think of from the top of my head.

Who the hell wants to play as Robin?

5253d ago 2 agree2 disagreeView comment

Finally something worth reading..

Very good article. Hopefully, in 10 years time, our medium, and people who chastise it both will have matured. And it will be a socially accepted activity, and where developers are held in as high regard as say a moviemaker.

But by then, the market will have changed considerably, and "hardcore gaming" as we know it will probably not exist.

Agreed, and who the hell approves this shit?!

You wanna get hard? Go watch some porn instead! Seriously guys, you're pathetic.

Ender's game would actually make an interesting video game adaption..
They could make good use of all the "games" and challenges in the book.

You know nothing.

Carmack "invented" the FPS as we know it today. So sit the hell down, listen and learn.

I don't care. Because I don't want Robin in my Batman game!

The first was the best dungeon crawler since Diablo 2. And with all the improvements, this looks to be the best one since, eeh.. the first.

5262d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

Looks good actually.
Reminds me a little of the first Witcher.

So basically what the guy's saying is this(the jist of it anyway):
"I don't think I'll like it cause the game isn't 100% real time action and about me, myself and badass commander me."

Well, in that case, I can understand that the target audience might seem niche to him..

Also, the second pic isn't from TOR, it's from KotOR 2...
