Why cant other open world games have compelling characters like R*? I mean there's just no attachment to them, only other franchise that comes close is Mafia.
Characters in Ubisoft games feel generic as hell. Like people are saying it's like they just choose a group of people (hipsters) and then choose a show (Mr.Robot) and put them in a blender. Just comes off as lazy writing.

Spain might have the best teams in the world but it isn't the best league, the epl is. When's the last time something like leiscter and spur's this season happened in Spain? It's pretty much been dominated by real and barca for the last 10+ years, with Atleti coming into the picture in recent seasons.
In terms of enjoyability, competitiveness, and just the overall look and feel of the league, from fans and stadiums, the EPL is the better league...

Hopefully they don't. All this would have not been possible if it wasn't for Sony, they believed in the IP and used their great relationship with insomniac Resistance/R&C to make this happen.
I'm also sure the movie deal was made and the exclusive game was a sweetner from Marvel. If it was up to Activision it would have been an average cash grab wich would have sold very poorly.
