Isn't Outlast an indie game? that game looks pretty damn good and has excellent gameplay. I wouldn't call that a cell phone game.
There are a lot of indie developers that are very talented and make games that can rival a triple A developer with a contract to a Publisher that has them on a leash.
I would agree with you that if all indie games were phone/tablet games that they would be worthless on a console but, that is not the case and is quite narr...
I think of it this way, At least Sony hasn't closed any of those developer studios. Ms hasn't let anyone go recently, because they closed most of their first party studios at the end of the last generation.
Excellent!
I am really digging this game, good for DE.
Sony has been doing head mounted displays for years, why would they have a problem competing?
Frankly, the more competition in this space is great, it will increase innovation while dropping prices, to be honest I would love to be able to enjoy a movie on a giant screen anywhere. which would be a great byproduct of VR headsets.
"E3 that's all I gotta say."
@n4gamingm
Which E3? how many E3's will the PS4 crowd have to wait to see the powah of the Xbone?
well at least you can cut and paste your post every year without modifying it.
@Gekko36,
I'm not so foolish to think that Ms is the only business to break the law. I get tired of hearing how wonderful Bill gates is, He has clay feet just like everybody else, and tobe honest he has followed right into the footsteps of every Monopolists in history, Carnegie, Rockefeller etc..
they run rampant destroying competition putting people out of work and when the chairman gets older they start "foundations" and "charities" even open...
I know that I haven't broken Federal law by running an illegal monopoly that has crushed competition and ruined lives with illegal back door deals, and I have never been accused of breaking RICO laws.
That's like saying because the Mafia donates money to the church and orphanages that all the bad they have done is washed away.
It amazes me how starry eyed people become with Bill Gates, the Man gives from his vast surplus that he could never spend in his lifeti...
Yeah, He is trying to absolve himself from all the lives he has destroyed in his life by becoming a humanitarian. It is a pretty common thing, He is very much like those turn of the century monopolists that try later in life to do good deeds to "wash away" all the lives they destroyed while creating their empire.
Looks like Frau Engel would chew you up and spit you out before you even had a chance to defend yourself.
If you thought that Nazis are evil then you haven't seen this Female Nazi in action. This chick would scare the one nut right out of Hitler's lederhosen!
I don't know about anybody else But, I am really looking forward to Wolfenstein:new order. I miss Nazis as the ultimate evil, I wish they would bring back more WWII stories like this. Not like COD or Medal of Honor, they were quite fun but, we need more fantastical stories like this, like advanced weaponry, ultimate weapons development on an uncharted island filled with Nazi Scientists. espionage stories involving stealth as well as firepower. Storylines in the vein of Brisco County, whe...
I had 4 360's and the fourth one I never took out of the return box from Microsoft, I just traded it, all its accessories and games toward a PS3 for my bedroom.
MS can have their junk consoles and crappy Operating systems, Bill Gates is a snake oil salesman and monopolists, The U.S. Federal government should have carved Ms up into little pieces.
IDK if your just being funny but, I think that whiner Jaffe and Cliffy "my millions are not enough" B. are way, wayyy more annoying and less relevant that John Carmack.
All John Carmack cares about is quality and well thought out design.
weather it comes from Sony, Microsoft or some small startup matters little to him.
one more thing, when MS announces something "groung Shattering" it generally means this:

Sheesh, you Xbone fanboys are so stupid. Secret hidden magical hardware is a pipe dream and a myth. As for software, there will be innovations by both MS and Sony as well as third party software devs, nowhere does this article say Sony has hidden magical secret hardware, only in your deluded, bitter mind did you see that.
Instead of whining, just be happy with your Xbone, man.
well, we got the big Blaz...opinion. Now, all we need is the Angry Whiner David Jaffe's input and we can all rest at night.
:P
EXACTLY! The only Cloud you will see from Phil Spencer is the one spewing foulness from the back of his trousers.
From the article:
"I think we can all agree that there are some great titles available for the console, and at the end of the day, that's all that matters. Right?"
Well yes and no, a great game is a great game, but, at what cost? Is it worth paying full price (60.00 plus) for a game and not being allowed to own it? for console and game makers treating it's customers like thieves with restrictive daily DRM checks?
To create a precede...
well, I meant fanboys, I should have proofread myself.
Sorry to all the 360 gamers that don't care about graphic fidelity.
if every indie game was garbage like angry birds, you would have a point, but, a lot of them are not like that, they aren't all retro platformers. games like Outlast. or, (even though IDK if they will ever be released on a console) most games from Frictional games.
also games like Routine look like there will be a PS4 port.
