Naturally Xbox is the US leader - it caters to us, and that's what matters.
I always said PS would be world wide leader, but if it isn't dominate in the first 5 yrs, then its irrelevant, if Xbox gets dominated in the next gen by Sony in the first 5 yrs it wont matter if it ends up ahead of PS either.
SONY Fans have alwlays been a confused bunch, last gen it was all about "who cares if Xbox has more power its about the library and experience"...
by all counts the WiiU will be a failure compared to the Wii.
Had this happened before 2010, yes it would, after, its irrelevant.
Anytime next gen is 2 yrs or less away - it has no baring, also this needs to be broken up by region more than it does need to be a global talk, being that certain games and exclusives thrive in one area and die in another

Mine was buying the Atari Jaguar. Then I tried to return it and get a 3DO and "Walden Books" at the time wouldn't let me return it.
Now looking back both were bad buys although I think the 3DO was a neat system.
