Not to be a total ass but the dark brotherhood, i have done 3 characters and still see no point in either the thieve's guild or dark brotherhood quests.
Not a fan of murdering innocent people in video games. I do like the paltry 20,000 gold for finishing the db quests. At high lvls of crafting that is maybe 5-10 minutes if that long with the ingredients on hand.
Maybe it is useful the getting 1000/1000 or the platinum, sounds like more hassle than it'...

What is the point of 50-60 extra buildings with nothing to do in them, i don't like when i find a new cave in skyrim and it's fully explored/looted in 5 seconds.
Fallout 3 lockpicking system was better in my opinion, but typically if it was a hard or very hard lock it usually had loot/short cut worth the trouble. Skyrim's chest loot is 50/50 to me half mundane items, and half semi useful gear early on at least.

It won't happen on consoles because then how would publishers sell us dlc and it sounds like a good way to crash/over work a system.
The consoles are probably delicately balanced between performance and maintaining reasonable heat lvl/cooling capacity. You don't have remotely high end cooling solutions in these systems, they are made as cheaply as possible.
And ask any pc gamer, that builds their own systems, the cheapest parts especially for cooling ...
It is also a budget game, they may not have the time or personal to do any substantial tweaking. I thought they retailed for $39.99.

I don't think this is ever going to be a mainstream game, it is too niche to me, it might not have the finances(sales) to invest in a new engine/more developers ect.
Problem is if your not a big name game like borderlands ect, you fall through the cracks and are overlooked by a vast majority of the gaming population.

I grew up with nintendo to, but when the n64 came out i noticed a massive drop off in the number and variety of third party content.
Then i saw that the next ff game(ff7) was going to be exclusive to the playstation console and this nintendo only fan ditched nintendo and went with playstation.

Yes and no, for movies/music yes, but for gaming rotational media needs to eventually die off at some point, because it is going to be slowing everything else down.
The 2 slowest devices, in gaming is typically the hdd and disc drive.
You figure the ps5 and xbox 4, will switch to solid state storage(ie flash cards/drives) for games, but maintain a disc drive for music/movies and maybe bc.

Look for a flash memory device/drive to be the "discs" in the ps5/xbox 4.
