Really depends on the individual but, in my opinion yeah i agree with that sentiment completely, 4 or 5 yrs from now it will likely be another story.

Minimum 4-6 max 8 gigs, the thing people need to keep in mind the consoles should be designed for a minimum 7-8 yrs of primary development use.
The 5 yr console cycle is likely dead now, so these systems might have to be a little beefer to compensate for the extended generations.
If your not willing to put down at least $399 or $449 at launch or shortly after, you have no business even discussing the next ms or sony console, till at least 2-3 yrs post launch...
Played part 2 on console, graphics looked subpar with all the boasting crytek did and the story and gameplay was boring as hell to so no significant lose to me.
The ps3/360 weren't even good enough to be considered mid range gaming rigs in 2005-2006, the wii u is marginally better than either system specs wise.

It's a fun little $20 game r & c, it isn't a full retail $60 game, like all 4 one was that deserved it's lower score to me. I played the demo for 3 or 4 hrs and bought the disc version the next night.
It has all the elements of a rachet and clank game only bit sized.
Insomniac probably has everyone working on fuse.

It's very simple economics, the few innovative or different retail titles don't sell enough to cover expenses for a sequel.

So why are people acting, like as soon as the ps4/720 release all developers will drop ps3/360 support. If the dev cost are that fucking high third parties can still release ps3/360 games, since short of 1st party exclusives the launch games won't be anything astounding.
This gen has gone on long enough, if we had a gig of memory in these systems 2015 might be reasonable, but we don't and despite what some fools claim the graphics aren't good enough.
Unfortunately developing for the ps3 and 360 will be just as cheap if not cheaper, with a install base many times greater than the wii u.
And they already offer many of the same features you boast about that wii u, will have.
And $50 won't mean a damn thing to a ps3 or 360 primary gamer, especially with the hardware divide between the 2.

The fact that the wii u, is constantly being compared to 7-8 yr old tech and not to yet to be released ps4/720, should point out just how weak it is.
