When the ps3 allows for cpu, gpu and memory upgrade, then i'll consider console vs pc comparisons realistic till then only closed system vs closed system.

It's not superior really, thats just pc gamers stroking their egos, it does have far superior mod support since that is almost none existent on the consoles, minus dlc. Also pc's capable to run games at higher resolutions and better frames per second, do to it being upgradeable, whereas consoles have the hardware set in stone basically.

The reason the supply is short is it is a niche game of a niche genre, and they seriously underestimated the demand they will have for it. You need to remember atlus is not a big company like ea, activision, ms ect.
They probably don't have the resources to make 1 or 2 million copies from the get go or more likely couldn't justify risking making a boat load of copies and have them not sell, also its a new ip so it is even more risky than an established franchise.

I think graphics might hit their peak maybe by late ps5-mid ps6 lifespan, before they get to realistic too play, ie make people disoriented/dizzy in mass.
