At least you gave it a try and decided for yourself that you didn't like it. I know everyone has a preference and that there a lot of people out there who genuinely don't like this game. I'm not bashing you because you dont like the game. Im just annoyed with the people who refuse to play the game, because it was made by westerners, and then go into message boards claiming how much it sucks when they didn't even give it a try.
Most of the reviews I've seen have been very positive. Its sad that some long time fans are passing on this game because of a design change when its obvious that this game is leagues better than DMC2. Hell, judging from what I played it seems better than DMC4.

I didn't have a 3DS and really wanted to play this game. Such great news. Wish they would have put it on the vita. The vita is really promising, but it seems no one wants to develop for it.
I played every DMC including this one and its pretty much the same as far as gameplay goes. Combo system is just as great as other games. Fans are only complaining because they changed the design of Dante. Do you guys really expect a western developer to have the same design as eastern ones.

They were actually working on something like that with "PlayStation Rewards" (I was in the beta a few years back). I dont know what happened to it tho. Seems like they scraped the idea. It was pretty cool. Got some exclusive avatars and themes out of it. . . avatars that no one else will be able to get. :)
Dude, most of the people who hate this game played most of the FF's. the 13 series is something that long time fans dont like. I played and beat 13 and 13-2. I still have faith in SE. I might play this game too, but I ran out of hope that this game will be any good. I dont know. . . we will see when it comes out, but so far it looks just like 13 and 13-2 (the two games that left a sour aftertaste).
Can you please elaborate on why the gameplay is bad? It feels just like DMC4 as far as controls and gameplay go. Combo system is pretty good (not as great as Bayonetta) and the rating system is exactly the same as past installments. You can switch weapons mid-combo just like DMC 3 and 4. The only thing thats truly different about this game is the art style and presentation. I dont know. Maybe I see things differently. I just dont understand the hate this game gets from westerners.
I thought Fire red and Leaf green were remakes of Red and Blue? So you want them to remake a remake with 3D graphics?! What purpose will that serve?
The controls are pretty much the same as other DMC's bashing a game for new reason? Sounds like RE6 all over again.
And lets not forget how broken the first AC was. I love the series, but I can't understand how the first game got such high reviews.
This stuff is not DLC. Its in the game and must be unlocked. You guys believe everything you read on the internet. Shame on you!
well, you're the only one that I know of that gets constant ammo and health supplies in this game.
I didn't like Chris's campaign as much as Leon's, but I think the ending was excellent. The game does have its problems, but what game doesn't? Seriously, a half finished glitch fest like Skyrim and Assassins Creed (the first one) get perfect scores, but this game, which have minimal problems, is getting below average scores.
Coming from a fan of the old school RE, this game is awesome. No it doesn't have survival horror elements, but it still a pretty good game. The cover system is a little broken, but the game is still playable. . . you dont even need to cover when enemy bullets miss most of the time.
If you actually played the game, you would know that they dont give you that much ammo or health. You're pretty much fighting with the bare minimum the entire time.
RE6 is an awesome game. Yes it has a lot of action, but the series has stepped away from its survival horror roots when RE3 was released. The bosses in this game are amazing and so far its a lot better than RE5.
Okay, who are these people who keep claiming to be long time fans of the series? If you were a long time fan, you would know that the sexy costume thing was going on since the series started. Also find it funny that people are still complaining about the survival horror, when that aspext left the series when Resident Evil 3 was released. Its easy to tell that the people who have such loud opinions know nothing about this series. I heard one guy complaining about the direction of the video...
Asura's Wrath for PS3. I got the game because everyone was telling me how good it was. It just wasn't my cup of tea. I spent about 3 hours watching cut scenes and then when I finally got to actually play the game, it just seemed like a mediocre hack n slash game. I really did try and it a chance. I played (well watched) four hours and decided that it was the biggest waste of money I have ever spent on a disk.
