-There are no playable summons in XIII-2 (Odin might be an exception).
-XIII-2's story seems pretty bad. Developers talk about the games story like it's magnificent but it just seems outlandish and. . . BAD!
-There are no limitbreak-like attacks. Quick time events wont make up for this.
-The battle system was left unchanged. Seriously, increasing the stagger bar and breaking a enemy isn't much of a strategy at all. Instead of ...
9k units ahead of the PSP is not impressive at all. I think nintendo was relying on the 3d gimmick a little too much. Nintendo and Sony really need to shift their focus AWAY from 3D. Most of us dont care for it and the ones who want 3D can't afford it. I think Nintendo's use of glasses free 3D appealed to the latter. I don't want a 3DS right now. . . the 3D hurts my eyes and I dont want to pay for a feature that I wont/can't use.
Actually, I dont buy Ni...
Crysis, Uncharted 2, Gear of War2, countless others. There are plenty of games that deserved a spot on that list. I guess they just decided to use games from the past or games from other console generations, but if I were going to pic a game from this gen to put on the list bioshock wouldn't be my first pick.
Really? It probably would have been helpful if Nintendo would have should some of those games during their E3 keynote.
Or maybe its because PS3 owners were getting multiple exclusives during Bulletstorm's release. There was LittleBigPlanet 2 in January and Killzone 3 in February. Games like Mass Effect 2(PS3) and Dead Space 2 also released around the same time.
It probably sold more on the 360, because 360 only owners had fewer games to buy in that time frame.
Edit: Oh, and the 360 version of bulletstorm had the Gears 3 beta.
All they do is make the same game over and over again. But it's not ALL their fault. The frat boys are stupid enough to spend $60 on the same game every year.
Makes we wish I didn't buy it at $99 when it was first released. Move has some good games, but so far $99 wasn't worth the price. We need more Move exclusive software Sony!
And yet Nintendo can't give more specific specs or show games actually running on the Wii-U. I'm not sure if I believe this. To me, the wii-u just seems like an idea that came about over night.
I never played the other Duke Nukems, but it seems that the hype surrounding this game is what killed it. Now I know that this game was made for the fans and no one else. . . and I'm okay with that. If the fans can appreciate it, then the developers did their job. At least they didn't change what made the series so adored by fans, unlike a certain video game developer we know (cough, Square Enix, cough).
I don't think Kazuo Hirai should be on this list. He really isn't that annoying. As for everyone else. Yeah, they're pretty annoying.
"At the moment, I can tell you Serah and Noel will be the main characters you play, with Lightning coming in sometimes. There will be over 150 types of monsters you can recruit and you can control these monsters, as well."
This the only thing Im really hating about this game. How can you call it a RPG when their are only Two main playable characters?
So they're Photoshopping the 360 buttons in again. I wouldn't put anything past those liars (Square Enix).
I don't think the Wii-u controller will have the same impact as the Wii controller did. I dont see Microsoft trying to come up with an similar idea anytime soon and some can argue that Sony has a jump on Nintendo with the Vita. I need more information and some hands on time with the Wii-u before I can make a judgement.
Edit: Phantom disagrees? This is why I hate n4g. I dont care if people disagree with me, but not knowing the reason really urks me.
I'm just glad that Nintendo isn't the only console maker around. The "Big Three" all offer something that helped move gaming forward and in different directions.
Microsoft helped connect millions of console gamers with the use of an internet connection. There is really no need to buy two controllers if your friends have the same system and games and a reliable internet connection.
Sony brought some nice controller innovations and DVD playb...
You can't stream all movies off of Netflix. Most of the movies have to be ordered and shipped to you on a. . . DVD <~~~
This just limits what you can watch on a Wii-U.
The Reason developers get away with DLC is because people are stupid enough to pay for them. I admit some DLC is worth the price, but its wrong for developers to expect of to pay for stuff that was cut from the final product. DLC is popular, because people are willing to spend $7+ on content such as custom character colors for Blazblu. The only DLC I bought and felt like it was worth it was the DLC for warhawk. Even after its popularity died down on PSN, warhawk developers were working on...
Or people with average sized hands. I really hoped they're taking about the smaller redesigned xbox controllers.
Most people play FPS for the online and multiplayer experience. Lets hope that Nintendo can get that right this time around.
I will get Code Veronica HD since I never finished the game. As for RE4, there is no reason for me to by this game a third time. I bought it when it released for the gamecube, I bought it when it released for the PS2. . . I beat RE4 total of 23 times. There is no reason for me to play it again.
@welle
Devs said that Summons wont be usable because fal'cie no long exist. Lighting still has Odin because she is in some other dimension. Plus, a lack of a TP bar pretty much confirms that they aren't coming back. I admit I jumped the gun on the two character thing. There might be more. . . I hope so. I just hate that they think the whole playable monster thing is a good idea. Over 200 playable monsters they say? Please, over half of those monsters were resk...
