Just leave out all the nonsense that has nothing to do with gameplay. Like all the assets that are made to place a car in for a freaking photo. Just cars and tracks. Let's race. Out with the cosmetic nonsense. And give the cars some sense of speed.

Well, one thing is for sure; NeoGaf will never be the same again. So it might be worth it to try elsewhere.
I don't think that was entirely true. But yeah.. the word 'republican' has become synonymous with backwards and evil these days, it seems. But that's not true for every republican of course. Most are just willing and loving people trying to make it all work.

Yeah they do need to be more open to opinions. But in general the rules that were on GAF were perfectly fine.
It was some people and some mods on GAF who were oversensitive. And that caused a ripple-efrect to other members. People got confused. Had no idea what they were supposed to think anymore. But he's right. Great games. Pure gameplay and incredibly smart and charming in design.
Yeah, games have to be immersive. They have to have their own set of physics and believable characteristics that we can identify with. That does NOT mean games have to be realistic though imo. Not at all. Often times realism is more boring than a stylized world. And less inspiring.
But games often aren't as realistic as people think. If CoD was realistic, you'd throw up and cry in a corner.
I'll just buy the games i like. Like i'm sure many will. In this case: Mario and Wolfenstein. I'm always kinda hyped for AC, but i'm quickly bored when i actually play one (aside from AC2).
