I guess nobody's bothered about F1 then?
Was really hoping for this before the end of the season.
It's the game i'm looking forward to most right now.
Does that make a game good to you? It's sold loads, reviewers have over rated it and everyone can play it, so it must be good!
The only reason it got such good reviews and sales, is because it's GTA. If SR2 was called GTA it would be GOTY, and more deserving.
I don't know how this can be GOTY. It wasn't terribly bad, storyline was quite good but I would rather watch a movie. Apart from the repetitive missions there was nothing else to do.
Saints Row 2 would be more worthy. That's fun, it's everythign GTA should have been. There is actually a use for in game money too, with loads to buy, properties, shops, car/crib mods and more. That's a game!

you couldn't learn a new language in 1 day, you can't learn FIFA in 1 match. If you don't know how to play it you won't like it.
I am a big PES fan but when I gave FIFA 08 some time I really enjoyed it, it's a great game and FIFA 09 should also be excellent.
Hopefully PES2009 is that little bit better though.
Why do they assume that everyone who downloaded it would have bought the game if it wasn't available to download?
I would be suprised if 10% of people would have paid for it.
Downloaded this without knowing much about the game and without knowing about the bad press it's had, so I had no preconceptions.
I'm sure I won't be popular but I hated it. Controls feel awkward, graphics not great with big invisible walls around things. I get the feeling it will get repetetive quick, just killing a bunch of enemies and moving on, killing a bunch of different enemies moving on etc.
OK the story could be good but if I wanted a good story I would read a book.
I thought for F1 they would forget the arcade/sim mix crap and go for 100% simulation.
I have Dirt and Grid and they are very good, there's plenty you can do to make the games feel real, like using the proper view (bonnet or c0ckpit) turning some assists off and playing with higher difficulty.
It's still not 100% realistic though and certainly not acceptable for an F1 game. Why have they paid so much for the licenses to waste it, they could have made an arcade game with made up na...
The way I see it is Grid is a RACING simulator whereas GT is a DRIVING simulator.
Both are very good in their own right.
A mix of the two would be amazing, one day!
First of all I'm a big fan of simulators so I was a little dissapointed to find similar arcade handling to Dirt. They made this game to appeal to both arcade and sim fans so you just need to tweak a few things and you have an excellent simulator.
If you use either the bonnet or inside view, change the difficulty to the highest and take off assists it feels so real, it's totally amazing racing, especially the street race.

Please try it again people, it's the most intense racing experince ever.
Put it on the highest difficulty, turn off the assists and drive from the bonnet or inside view and you have an extremely realistic SIMULATOR. They made it for sim and arcade fans so you just got to tweak the settings to turn it into a simulator.

You don't see him actually putting the disc into the 360, he must put another game in to get the 'reading disc' message.
After the reading disc message the video is cut, then comes the fake video, look at how the background changes, the area around the TV, the lighting is totally different.

Why can't we just enjoy talking about gaming, its what we all have in common. I can't see why there is so much bad feeling and jealousy. OK I admit I would love GT5 but I just accept that its a PS3 game and if I want to play it I need a PS3, same for MGS.
A lot of people on here need to grow up.
I can't believe people get so passionate about which console we play our games on, its like a religion. People seem to quickly develop hatred towards someone just because they own the other console.
PS3 will have some excellent exclusives in sure, so will Xbox 360. If you can't be happy with what you get on your own console you'll just have to buy both. Why do you need to argue?
Will they make games where you have to use the motion sensor?

Everyone can see that these graphics are incredible. People who deny it must be blind or stupid. This looks amazing.
I probably won't buy a PS3 just for this but it's one game I will miss.

Konami wouldn't make a poorer version for the 360 just becuase they love Playstation. Theres too much money involved.
There are many more 360 owners so plenty more money to gain from 360 owners.
Surely it is in their best interests to get both versions as similar as they can and the 360 is capable of matching the PS3... for now!
I find the PS2/3 controller very uncomfortable now. It really hurts my hands after just an hour or so on PES5.
I have totally got used to using the sticks on PES6 on the 360.
As for PES 2008 i'm still confident there will be very little difference between the two versions.

I have always been a PES fan, but the last couple of years i've had both, and FIFA is getting ever better. I go through spells of playing each of them and can never decide which is best overall. Sometimes FIFA feels so nice when you put a good move together, I think that's down to the more realistic movements and physics. I'd say overall PES is just ahead but it's very close, both have strong and weak points.
It'll be interesting to see some news of PES 2010, I just hope Newcastle Utd ...
