You guys act like you're obligated to buy this DLC. It's simply an option! If you don't like it, then ignore it. Besides, this doesn't affect gameplay balance in anyway. All you are going to see is some dudes with different camo. Big deal. You guys should be happy DICE does not charge for maps like other games.
devs realized that we care more about gameplay than graphics. Yes, graphics are important, but not as much as gameplay. The game has to be fun!
@ThanatosDMC And that is where many people including yourself make the mistake. BC2 is not BF2. It isn't trying to be BF2. It's a snip-off from the Battlefield series. BF3 is the sequel to BF2.
Well mag is out trying to be BF2, IMO. Large scale warfare, but it fails on the vehicle part. It is basically infantry warfare which IMO gets boring. That's why BF2 was so great. So diverse and fun!
I don't think comparing MAG to BC2 is a good comparison. They are different games.
Glad it's selling great on PC. This goes to show that Battlefield PC fans needed a game a long time ago! There is a few things that could be fixed, but the core game is great! So fun and unpredictable!
One of the devs mentioned that he was very interested to see what version sold better. I think this will be quite a nice surprise for him.
BC2 is a sequel to BC1. So that means it has similar game play and features from BC1. Now BF3 is a game that will be much deeper, bigger, larger scale than Bad Company. Imagine BF2 scale, but bigger and better. Since BF3 is a sequel to BF2, expect jets, helos, blackhawks, large maps, Larger player count( I hope), plenty of maps, possibly a single player( who knows), more factions, etc.
What a lot of BF2 vets want is a bigger, better BF2. Now that destruction has been introduced ...
The future looks very bright for DICE. I can't wait to see BC2 and BF3! BF3 is going to be EPIC!!!
Then I think you will like the other game modes. There is Rush & Conquest, which is more objective based. Then you have Squad Deathmatch & Squad Rush which is based on Infantry Only. It is hectic and fast paced, but still is Battlefield so you will be working in squads. Basically it is Squad vs Squad vs Squad vs Squad. First up to 50 kills, wins the match.
What I really like from BC2 is the diversity of the game. The maps look very diverse as well as the game modes.

R u serious? What other engine has huge maps, lots of vehicles, good amount of players, destruction, etc. Frostbite might not look as good as other titles, but it does other things way better. Plus Frostbite 2 is the future for BF games. Hopefully Frostbite 2 is used only for BF3 PC. I don't think it should be multiplat.

Why are you guys judging the whole game off of a Demo/Beta. It's not fair, really. You have to play the whole damn game which includes all the maps, game modes, and Single player. Then you can say which game is better. A lot of ppl are comparing the demo/beta to another full game(MW). The 4 game modes from BC2 offer different style of game play. So, ppl r just judging off of 1 map and 1 game mode. They haven't seen the rest of the game. I bet when ppl play the new modes, they are going to lo...
It has been announced already that BC2 will have a significant post-launch support. DICE is even taking suggestions on their twitter. They want to know what we want. For me I want new maps & vehicles.
There is hope for a lot of kool stuff. I also just found out that on Day 1(Release Date for BC2) there will be free new content. :)

When I first saw this, I never thought it would see that many Changes/Fixes. The good thing is that pretty much all of them are great fixes that will help game play.

It doesn't say no Dedicated Servers. It says no PUBLIC SERVER FILES. Totally different. Server files are for ppl who have their own servers at home and what not. This has nothing to do with dedicated servers.

To come and think of it, I think he is talking about the SP. Sure, MP will look great, but maybe not as good as SP. On PC, It will look very good.
If you've read Gamasutra, http://www.gamasutra.com/vi... Frank Gibeau, President, EA Games Label says how both MOH & BF are different games. So we should expect different gameplay from MOH MP. Probably infantry based w/ very few vehicle or non at all.
I think it'll be good. Wonder if it'll be more realistic or arcady.
