No. If you read the article you'll see that the game was running natively at 1080p on multiplayer(PS4). The game being 720p on single player was a mistake made by Infinity Ward, the single player campaign was supposed to be 1080p from the start. On the other hand, the Xbox One is running at 720p across the board.
Exactly, I played the game yesterday and it's pretty tough lol. Really caught me off guard.
I would love for BF4 on the PS4 to be native 1080p, but unless you have a source to backup that statement then it's 900p.
@neocores,
It's 66 people because of Commander mode, and it's still 900p upscaled to 1080p.
Just downloaded it, it works very well. I like how I can send messages without going to the XMB =).
Imagine if they told us about the resolution earlier on, the PS4 pre-orders would be even greater lol. Can't wait till I get my PS4, tried it today and the controller is perfect.
The lengths people will go, lmfao.
@Lovable,
Lmfao.
Why am I not surprised, Ksar strikes again lol. The boot time on the PS4 will be irrelevant once the suspend mode is released via an update.
I agree, they're playing it real smart this time around. In this day and age, people are always on social networks and are usually connected in some way. Sony also noticed that a lot of people have smartphones, tablets and so on, so they added a touch pad to the controller to bring a similar experience that smartphones bring.
He's not even firing shots, he's just stating the obvious lol. Sony is focusing on games first that features entertainment aspects(it's the last thing they have to worry about, they're an entertainment company lol) while Microsoft is focusing on an all in one entertainment box that does games.
This game looks so real, it's crazy that the thought of an NBA game looking close the real thing is now a reality.
This feature alone makes me want a Vita. Who would have thought that remote play would be this awesome? I remember wishing I could do this with my PSP and PS3 when I first got my PS3, but only a few games actively supported it.
I did see the framerate drop at times in the video(16:30, BIG FPS drops). I tried to like the game by watching the video, but it doesn't look like I would have fun playing this game to be honest(my opinion).
Why would a game get a lower score because it's family friendly? That's like saying Mario games will get lower scores because it's family friendly, doesn't happen.
All those games O_O.
"There is no "DRM removal" in the Day One update because none of the consoles were ever built with that stuff in it. "
Really? It doesn't make sense, you need a day one update to use the console, but you can't play games without it? So then why is a day one update required for the console to function if it's not for DRM removal(which Microsoft clearly stated at the time of the 180)? If anything, it should be like the PS4 where you can use the c...
Sorry Albert, you can't answer like Shuhei on this topic =P.
I think the real question is this, how are they streaming the whole system(UI, games etc.) with a capture card? Is it included in Sony's day one patch? If so, then that's great!
