This is just the internet, most people don't have these issues with their purchases and others are STILL looking forward to theirs in the future. It's an isolated issue, a bad batch if you will. Also, people say "I'm switching to PS4" or "I'm switching to Xbox One" just because their console fails? What kind of logic is that? Most people send it back in for a new one, or they just wait until a newer model releases.

Here are the possible issues, these are the issues that made my PS3 overheat and could be related to the PS4 issues.
- Not in a well ventilated area.
- On the carpet, one of the best things you can do to make your console overheat.
