1st Person Shooters reign supreme! I used to hate hate FPSs but this generation's shooters has turned me into a FPS freak. I pretty much play them all now. I have little interest in MW 2.2 though :P Its a rental at best. BF3 is gonna consume my life or lack there of after it releases.

Hopefully its not white and ugly as the original 360, ugh. It just doesn't match home theater equipment. Who the hell has a white receiver, white TV or even white cable/satellite box?

OK so what is "significantly lower" and how do you know the budget for R3? You have no idea how much it cost to make. For all you know they're already in the black. You say lower than expected but who says what's expected and where do I find those numbers?

You ever notice how ALL gameplay demos for any game the players are awful? I read its because they don't want to show to much violence so the suck on purpose. I doubt that, these guys just plain suck.

Game is just boring.
Yeah its a great game with awesome gameplay. So what I don't understand is what constitutes a flop? Any game game that doesn't sell 1 mil 1st week? Is there a barometer or cut off number for sales that say if a game flops or not?
A certain exclusive on another console underperformed, it couldn't take in the #1 spot and its not out pacing the last game, is that a flop? If BF3 sells 9 mil and MW3 sells 12 mil does that mean BF3 flopped? I need a definition.
Wow IGN trolling the entire industry for hits now. BF3 quality, MW3 sales.
I have over 100 plats and hated maybe half of those games by the time I platted them. Getting the plat can enhance a great game and torture you with a bad one.

Gears sold about 2 million domestic here in the US and 1 million in every other territory for a total of 3 million. Seems like a disappointment to me.
All the 360 honks were saying it was going to give BF3 and MW3 a run for its money but it seems to have sold less than Gears 2 so far. It couldn't even beat out Black Ops for the most players on its launch week. It couldn't beat madden; BF3 and MW3 are going to destroy it within 3 days of their respective launches. Sor...
