All online passes have had either 2 or 7 day free trials. Except right now I'm playing a rented NCAA 12 and it says I'm not eligible for an online pass. Weird.

This is no scandal because for it to be a scandal these sites would have to hire journalist which as far as I can tell none of them do. Journalist are trained in their trade. These sites hire C.I.S. and English majors who have no journalistic integrity. They are community managers not reporters.

Same thing happened to a friend of mine but when he changed his name he kept all of his trophies and everything he bought from the PS Store. Your story is fishy or you didn't follow instructions correctly.
No I did not buy Haze & I don't play RPGs so I didn't buy those. I'm sure I bought every other PS3 exclusive not named Yakuza for the last 2-3 years and the only game I was disappointed with was Modnation Racers. I just couldn't get into that game. So my strategy has a 99% success rate so I'm happy :)
