It was on pace to beat the original DS's sales even before the price cut.
This is a Sony fanboy site. They don't really like video games, just Sony. They are the people who only buy one system and then miss out on tons of good video games.
It would be nice, but it would also be a huge financial mistake. "Wii" is now a very well known name and anything that has it in it's title will sell better.
Yes to Skies of Arcadia. I played it on the Gamecube several years ago but I never got the chance to beat it because someone stole my memory card.
That's okay though, it's almost a given that the next Zelda game will be on the 3DS. Unless Nintendo has been secretly working on a WiiU Zelda game (maybe that's what Retro is making?).
WitWolfy- Nintendo has not announced their specs yet so I'm curious as to how you know that. You make it sound like Nintendo is always behind in power and yet the Wii was the first time Nintendo has ever been behind.
They've been doing that for a long time though.
There are new IPs, it's just that they are only available in Japan.
Which is why the Wii U will do great once it gets a better install base.
A current gen console that is almost as powerful as a next gen console?
Montrealien- You sounded pretty smart until you started equating someone's maturity with their education and income.
Seriously? Does no one read the article? Everyone jumps on the title and acts like Nintendo said they weren't going to make ANY HD games. They're just saying that some games have nothing to do with graphics (Brain Age or Wii Sports games for instance), so they won't be spending ridiculous amounts of money making those types of games HD when they don't need to be.
Every game that you would expect to be HD will be (Zelda, Metroid, ect).
Considering their demographic is everyone with at least one arm, I'm going to assume you lost both of your arms somehow. My condolences.
They need Wii in the name somewhere to get sales off of brand recognition. I personally like "Super Wii" more than "Wii U" or "Wii 2".
hazardman- I'm pretty sure the whole "WiiU is2x more powerful than the 360" thing is just a stupid rumor.
Exactly. It was probably there all along but just left unannounced.
I like "Super Wii" personally.
Stick to video games, science just isn't for you.
Except Sony handhelds and Nintendo handhelds both usually have the same amount of remodels...
I bought this for 8 bucks recently. A great game. I was surprised when I heard that it hasn't had a sequel.
