Lol. You will be waiting a long time. You asked me to answer a question about when Sony stopped games going to other platforms but I am not sure why you are asking that from what I said. I don’t think you even tried to understand my point or comment.
You are making assumptions that MS will stop games coming to Sony. That is YOUR assumption.
When I said Sony have been doing this for ages I was referring to making acquisitions.
Therefore there is no need for me to a...
When have MS said they will restrict the games from other consoles? Call of Duty will still be on PlayStation. Will all Bethesda games go Xbox exclusive? I’m talking about Sony also buying companies. It’s part of the modern gaming world. The idea that MS buying Activision/Blizzard will somehow harm PlayStation gamers is just scaremongering.
Some games from both sides will be timed exclusives but Halo, COD will remain multi platform. To keep a series on one console - Nintendo being a...
It seems that when Microsoft does this it’s all bad and disgraceful but Sony have been doing this for years. It’s nothing new it’s just that the number of noughts on the deals get bigger.
Xbox will have more and more gamers playing on lots of different platforms which is what they want.
PlayStation will keep selling the consoles and will be just fine and they will buy some more studios yet.
Nintendo will keep doing their own thing and will be more than fine.
This title has had enough chances. Dreadful marketing, awful development. What should have been a show in for a great game became a mess and will forever be remembered as such.
Pachyderm. I thought he had been put out to pasture! Man’s a fool.
I think that’s it for me. Arceus has made me enjoy the idea of the franchise but it hasn’t quite done enough to make me want to play the older games but if it continues in this vein I’d be happy to stick with it for sure.
A fart in the wind? That maybe but this ain’t going to end anytime soon. Whilst Nintendo will just sit back smoking a big fat cigar.
The other thing that they could do to add more power is to release a more powerful dock and this was rumoured a while ago. A 4K dock might keep some happy but as for a more powerful handheld that will run Xbox series/ps5 games. Not happening. If you want that then we are going to all have to hope that the Steam Deck proves to be what it purports to be - but that price tag is going to keep it from being a mainstream success and Xcloud, is okay, but in the UK in particular the 5G is rarely grea...
103 million and counting people disagree. And that’s the issue. With chip shortages and the system still selling like hot cakes there is literally no need for them to produce or release a new system any time soon. Nintendo rarely do multi media. They want to make games systems and they are unlikely to change any time soon.
The system was underpowered on release but Nintendo systems sell based on Nintendo games - even with 3rd parties on Switch since 2017, they still have not sold any...
Switch Pro? 2024 if we are lucky. Nintendo are not going to change the current model whilst they still have a big games to come. MK9 may still come on the next 2 years. If anybody is really wanting a new model of the Switch, and by that I mean a pro or more powerful model, I genuinely believe it will be 2025 before we see it.
I am pretty sure this article is actually about the way Xbox has bounced back and learned from the mistakes of the Xbox One?
I loved the Donkey Kong games and Tropical Freeze is brilliant. I would certainly like to see a new game this year.
What console wars? Console wars died in the 90’s thankfully. There are enough consoles, enough choice for everyone to play on what they want. If you want to play certain games you will need to have all consoles or a PC and one other. If yiu can’t afford that there is no pressure to buy one or the other. Choose the one that best suits your needs and what you enjoy.
I have always been a huge fan of handheld gaming so I have a Nintendo Switch OLED and I have GamePass on my IPad Pro. Tha...
Xbox are not going after console sales - they are all about game pass now and the cloud. They will keep producing consoles of course but they want GamePass to be available in as many places as possible. Nintendo by the way will not care one bit about the takeover of Activision/Blizzard.
I think that’s a point that so many people are missing. Things will not change this year or next year at all. Maybe some changes might be apparent in 2024 but 2025/2026 is a good estimate of when things will really start happening. And I don’t think we will see as big a set of changes as some are suggesting.
I love Forza and haven’t played a Gran Turismo for many a moon so am looking forward to this beauty! Very different prospect but will be one of 2022’s hits for sure. Gonna be another expensive year!
It’s a disappointing game. It’s okay for a quick half hour blast here and there but does feel like a half baked effort.
I think when you only have one difficulty setting you are in danger of leaving some players out of the equation. Gaming is about everyone of all abilities being able to play and enjoy a game and different levels being added ensures inclusivity for everyone.
If only! Marvellous!
That’s 2 games. You were worrying about those games? I’m talking about COD, Halo etc. Of course there will be exclusives. That’s not new. And if Sony and MS decide to make exclusives that push people away from huge franchises that already exist - already exist being the key here - then they will have to face the deserved backlash they will receive.
