@gamer7804 I have had a look and UpSpec themselves have done a video and they found only lasted 40 minutes. I don’t think it’s possible without a huge outlay but I’m sure there will be a way and I will certainly keeping an eye out for anything and cover it if it is found.

So you still need good wi fi and/or 5g. So it’s no different to playing on your phone other than a better screen. Xcloud is great for saving space when playing at home but in the UK wi fi is decent but 5g still isn’t great and not available in more places than it is. So it hardly makes Steam Deck any more essential than it already is. If I bought one I would have to play at it home mostly. Which defeats the object.
Both Clash of Clans and Candy Crush are huge games but the focus here is on games that don't follow those formulas. Of course they generate huge amounts of money and are mega successful but there are definitely better games available now on mobile and it gives gamers the ability to play on more devices if they choose to do so.
The overarching point here is that whilst there are still the copy and paste type games that infinity gamer mentions in his reply, there are without doubt ...
I imagine we will see this a bit before the deal finally goes through but I agree that it is likely some who what to avoid being exposed for what they truly are.

This was always going to happen. It’s a great little box but once devs start avoiding putting any effort in it will quickly become a thing of the past.

Some games will be exclusive and some won’t. I actually believe that with the deals going on we will see more games become multi platform. Yes, I just said that.
Remember it well. Sony, MS, Nintendo are not going anywhere. They will all continue to thrive for decades to come. Now get on with enjoying games you love on the system you love and if you have more than one system your dreams are already amazing.
