i thought it would take forever to dl but I was downloading at 12.5 MB/sec--it took 4 minutes for 3.9 gigs. I have fiber optic but I've never downloaded that fast.
I'm playin the beta right now and love it, except for all the pop in crap. Every time I squat or move through a bush the screen keeps goin up and down.
Its about what I expected though, with such a huge game you can't expect everything to be perfect out of the gate.
I probably didn't do enough research before I bought my headset. I just bought the Logitech G35--was on sale on Newegg.com and it had pretty good reviews. So far I've used it for Red Orchestra and Deus Ex and it is pretty sweet.

They better include the M14 for assault rifles. I didn't see it on the "official" weapons list so it better be an unlock. M14 ACOG is my weapon of choice. Also, love the M14 b/c it reminds me of its predecessor--M1 Garand.

Once again, PS3 owners cannot get the same thing high end PC owners will get. We will get a good game, but don't kid yourself, it doesn't matter how well the developers know the PS3--you can't compensate for 5 year old hardware and magically make it appear DX11.

The only people who would agree with you are the people that still play MAG. MAG doesn't do anything to define itself in this generation. OMG it has 256 players--I never once (for longer than a minute) found a game with 256 players. Mag does one thing new--large # of players for a shooter on console.
Still, I'd rather play Battlefield 2 than MAG.

Dudemanbro, I'm glad someone remembers Delta Force--those games were so amazing for the time. I remember sniping with the .50...damn that game was so fun for the time. I dono if they could make another one and make it stand out, especially with Battlefield 3 on the horizon (and BF2 of course)

Why can't people (especially fanboys) just accept that the PS3 (and 360) cannot handle 64 players (for Battlefield 3)? It has already been said by a few others, but if they had support for 64 players the game would have to look like MAG, and let's be honest, MAG looks like crap.
