i actually think that ms not making its own vr headset is a smart move as vr is in its infant stages and has not proven itself yet so if vr succeeds..it has partners like oculus for vr and if vr fails...it has nothing to worry about as it has nothing invested in it
we don't know if it will have a huge place in gaming yet...i'm not trying to hate on other vr headsets but vr is resting in the hands of sony...i like oculus and vive but vr needs that push to mainstream if it wants to survive...that's where sony and the psvr come in as it has the potential to make vr a household name...lets see if consumers take sony on that offer or not...2017 is going to be an interesting year as we will truly see what psvr can do as i know that preorders have ...
I quite enjoyed it myself...it's by no means perfect but it's definitely not as bad as critics made it out to be

What was the dem like because at e3 they only let you play an extremely tiny part where all you could do is tame one of the creatures and ride it but that was it...it was awesome but it was way too small of a demo to fully judge it...it was good though but like I said way too small of a demo to really say anything about it

Can we wait for it to be unveiled before people start listing why you should get it or not...we don't know absolutely anything about it besides rumors with nothing officially concrete...it's only a couple days away from now so be patient
its all about preference...i would rather play cod 4 which was awesome...great map design...great weapons...3 simple but great kill streaks...whats not to like...now if you like iw more..than thats great for you....there is nothing wrong with liking one or the other

Yes and no because 1st party sony games tend to take so damn long to come out but for the most part...they tend be great experiences...you wait long...but you get a damn good game...for the most part (I'm looking at you order 1886)...let's see if the last guardian can be an example of waiting way too long...but worth it at the end
Why don't you try the psvr at best buy....if they still have it to try out...it's pretty cool...haven't tried other vr headsets but I have tried psvr a couple times at e3 and it's pretty cool
I got to try it a couple of times...played the kitchen demo before it became re7, the underwater demo, and Batman vr...it's awesome...have it preordered...I just want it already damn it
@ Gitgud...both are crap from the highest order but why does one get bashed to kingdom come when it comes to winning the worst company award and no Activision...it at least needs an honorable mention...I don't know...maybe it's just me hating Activision for putting crash and spyro on retirement
Yeah but it's one bad game but how about the franchises that are completely ruined like spyro, Tony hawk, guitar hero, etc...Activision destroyed these franchises...were responsible for setting the trend of 50 dollar season passes...you thought ea ruined mirrors edge...go look at Tony hawk 5 from Activision
Your are talking about Activision here...the people responsible for 50 dollar season passes...ran Tony hawk to the ground....ran guitar hero to the ground...ran spyro to the ground....couldn't make a good crash game to save their lives...released marvel ultimate alliance 1 and 2 for 60 dollars...games from 2006 with no upgrades for 60...has like all the money in the world and yet instead of having studios make new ip...they all work on cod... seriously think about that for a second
That's what I'm talking about...people keep insisting that I'm talking about just video games...many people need realize that the majority don't care about power or exclusives...if that was the case... games like uncharted and halo would sell more than cod, Madden or fifa bit they don't even come close (not even if you just count sales for their specific version)...like I said before...I need the have the best thing out there but the majority of people also look for price....
You're talking about games but why does everybody keep insisting that resolution and power matter...you would be surprised that price matters as well hence why there will be entry level consoles (ps4 slim, xbs) and premium consoles (neo and scorpio) some people just want a console that can play video games, watch movies and stream and if the xb1 s has the extra feature of playing 4k Blu rays and streaming in 4k...sounds like the better option to me
Why?...you would be surprised that many people could care less about power its all about saving money...if the xb1 slim can take advantage of 4k features for his wife, kids and himself...that fine with him...not fine with me because I just have to have the best there is but like I said...not many people are like that...xb1 s plays Madden...it plays Fifa...and plays 4k movies as well as stream in 4k all for 300 dollars...it's all good
