I look the color on the special edition...and you get the game for free...not a bad deal at all
I know I'm just implying the external hdd because it has something to do with PSN security and sony's overall infrastructure when it comes to playstation
im guessing it has something to do with piracy or security issues as the reason...why does everything else use external hard drives (my wii u and xb1 s) but not my ps4...seriously though..i feel like paranoia strikes deep inside sony which is the reason they block us from having things like external hard drives, ea access, and apparently mods as well
First no 4k by ray drive and now I have to buy the stand separately...damn you Sony!!!!!!!!...haha it's all good though...never liked having my consoles standing up but that doesn't mean other don't like it...I got to say...the design of pro is growing on me...still bummed out about no 4k Blu ray drive :(
hold on a sec...i agree with you when it comes to the pro..i kind of feel that the people that are going to rush out and buy it are still not 100% clear on what it can do and not do...heck...i don't even know who this thing is for but the psvr is NOT dead on arrival...as it has been completely sold out but the REAL question is if its going to have some legs after the launch shipment
it does matter because i was planning to upgrade my ps4 (living room) once the pro came out but now i won't get one as ill just put the one s in the living room and put the ps4 in my room...i know some people don't care but i do and so do many more..if this is the "premium" ps4 then it should have 4k blu ray...after getting my first 4k blu ray (the revenant) is sooo good...baffles the mind that sony wouldn't want to have a console that could take front and center in a li...
It has come a long way..not as good as xb live but it's surely becoming good too
Is this why Sony is afraid of putting ea access and external hard drives or mods...what are they using the millions and millions of dollars they get from subscriptions for then...you would think it would be so their online infrastructure can be as stable and secure as possible
It is for me because I just started buying 4k Blu ray movies and I would love PS to have the feature but I guess I'll get another xb1 s for the living room instead...just because it's scarce now doesn't mean it will stay like that

I don't know too much about this but can't they just upgrade the memory from 900mb to what xb1 has?
For the players... seriuosly...let's put the fanboy aside and really question Sony on what happened...they started then gen so good...they took the lead by a large margin...then we have no ea access..no external HDD support yet...raise the price of plus with out saying why...now this...honesty...I wish they didn't have such a huge lead because they think they are invincible again...I want the Sony that started this gen right not this Sony we have now
only way I'll get this is if it has a huge upgrade when it comes to psvr...to the people that know a lot about tech..does the weak CPU in the pro mean that pro will never take full advantage of the GPU???
thats the thing though...they just showed off that game and nothing else...you would think they would take some time to fully explain how two new devices that release this year about a month from each other would benefit one another as this is my selling point as i am getting psvr but still reluctant on the pro
So this thing really is put to good use for 4k TVs...budget is okay but not "upgrade tv as well" good so NO 4k TV anytime soon as I had to fix my car and getting psvr plus xb1 and ps4 games throughout the year so what REALLY interests me is how the psvr will take advantage of the pro...if its a big difference (night and day) with ps4pro/psvr then I will consider getting one before re7 comes out
See that's the part that worries me...will developers take time to do something like this or just try to add better graphics to their games over 60fps...if we base this on how everybody likes their graphics...we will certainly see developers taking the path of better graphics over trying to balance to get 1080p/60fps
Um...why shouldn't they be confident..the PS meeting today solidified that argument on who will have the most powerful console this gen unless Sony comes out in 2 yrs with the ps4 pro plus
This year is all about PS for me as psvr and pro come out this year when it comes to hardware...next year is ms
