A Hercules game would be good, but it'd have to be done subtly. Otherwise it would just seem to be a GoW rip-off.
I grabbed a copy off of ebay for $10, it's not a bad game, but when you're playing you'll wonder if instead of telling everyone how much money was spent to make the game awesome, they should have, you know, made the game awesome.
But if you find a used copy in good condition, buy it.
Will do. Thanks for the tip.
I, surprisingly, have never played a single Call of Duty game. Maybe I should start with this one.
Frogger? Seriously?
I remember blasting through my entire weeks allowance at the arcades in an hour. Those were the days..
This is front page news. First I've heard of any sort of continuation in the series. Sounds like it'll be intense, which is good.
Nice interview, looking forward to this game.
The great thing is, this issue was later than usual, which means double Famitsu this week. Yay!
Good read. It's cool there's still developers making an effort to try something fresh, and not get tempted into the five-minute kongregate/armorgame/king.com world..
Delay or not, I still enjoy this weekly column.
A short main mission and lack of variety in the weapons means I won't be getting this game. I don't have time to play online, nor bandy around completing side quests, so I need games with long main missions. And why does it have clipping issues and synch problems? At what point do the producers of games look at their product and say; "Ah close enough is good enough".
Good review all the same.
Matt electrified the seaweed.
And it doesn't even look to be as big as the player anyways.
I think it's a bit rich for the company to ask for commitment to the game. Where's the commitment to us? Why do games continue to climb in price but not quality? Don't get me wrong I want to see this come to fruition, and like it says “If developers had free reign with the CryEngine, they would easily be able to produce really bizarre, wacky wonderful stuff.”, But that's not up to the gamer to decide. It's the publishing company. It doesn't matter if a petition gets 1 million signatures, that...
Street Fighter Forever!!!
It really depends on the game. Fallout 3 was unique because of the character speech checks and many different paths to reveal information, but Half Life 2 doesn't allow the player to make any speech choices, so they might as well throw in some banter. It's a fine line I think, and perhaps it's something developers can look at in furthering their so-called next gen games.
Is it just me, or does this look reminiscent of Hitman?
I was thinking the same thing. Might as well just buy a cheap mixer and learn to do it for real.
I too was looking at this as a potential Xmas gift. It's a shame.
