I think IW was originally going to have the two artists get involved with the game cause they might actually be fans of their music, but I'll bet Bobby Kotick was like: "OH, wait! Let's make a deal with them so that we earn MORE MONEY! I'M SO SMART!."

If Infinity Ward doesn't ditch Activision soon, they're going to become as evil as Activision. If they stick with them, then I have mistaken IW as yet another Dev Company who has lost the will to care about what the community REALLY thinks of them. People have been BEGGING for dedicated servers in MW2 since the end of COD4. "We listen to the community..." Sure you do.

I think it also has to do with the game's success. For example, GTA was always a very popular franchise and the media has been after Rockstar for years. If this game ends up sucking (which I hope it doesn't), then no one will care.
They don't literally mean it's for homosexual people... That word has changed in meaning over the years and isn't as much of an anti-gay slur as before. Yes, it's offensive if you say it towards an actual gay person, but how many times have you heard little kids yelling in an online game, saying that particular word? Grow up guys. It's just a word.

Edit: Ohhhh I get it! The people disagreeing are the actual N00BS who DO grenade spam in CoD. I get, it's okay if you suck, you can always use the new Deathstreak feature in MW2 and still suck. :-)
