hoping they update the visuals because oh man those models are dated; a shame because the illustrations are nice but the 3d modeler is awful. I have played all tri-ace games except the last star ocean; hoping this one gives me a reason to come back to the series
I got like 10+ hours in? Played on hard mode too. Just wasn't fun. Train sequence wasn't fun either

Yeah though never know it could be better. My main issue was the shallow combat. If they Amp it up it could be a lot of fun. Sometimes a game has a good base and a sequel expands in just the right ways.
First game was so boring, hopefully that changes.

They didn't make many games.... Witcher 1 is a bad game, especially combat wise.
Witcher 2 combat is slightly better but still very bad, story is good though.
Only Witcher 3 is decent thanks to story however combat is still bad, and too much Witcher sensing around.
So yeah they haven't made many games not were they great.

it isn't fine, it looks like a bunch of hipsters and lame characters. A reset is fine but these characters feel way too forced
originally the game launched with no sounds, no voices aside from music. It was due to copyright reasons, they hadn't been able to use even the songs from the series they borrowed characters from. It was an awkwardly quiet game and was negatively reviewed for it.
It doesn't even have sound effects which is a shame.... Or did they add that eventually?
No, the game is shallow, I'm sorry but command lists thst are barely over 4 moves long, and lots of resin characters. The levels are cool but that's about it.
Actual fighting games are games like guilty gear, blazblue, soul cal, king of fighters, etc etc.
Smash is a fun party game but don't pretend it's deep whatsoever.
casual normie? xD good one there; I played all the ninja gaiden games, devil may cry games and such, those were real action games. The new god of war is fun and the story is actually well written. the other one was blah, but glad you enjoyed it. It made people who werent good at games feel like they were good; mean while I was playing the hell out of Ninja Gaiden black
actually i played it but just a little, it felt like the others so i stopped. Also compared to other action games like Ninja Gaiden and Devil may cry at the time, the combat was really lame. Just the QTE's were cool
yeah really hoping that's what we get; that way maybe even more Malenia or Millicent focused story
