Tbh, a Pro Skater 3 + 4 remake would probably take at least a year whereas DLC packs for each could have staggered releases. I'm just being selfish. haha.
It probably would be better if 3 and 4 were unified so you couldn't used maxed out characters from 1 + 2 though so you're probably right.
It's so good. Pro Skater 3 and 4 maps, and the ability to play custom maps online would make it even better though. I hope they do the latter quite soon.
People like to insult GTA5 because of its popularity but it fixed everything people complained about in GTA4 and pushed the series forward as well. It had so much variety and such a good pace. I still love the ambient music that plays as you fly across the city at night.
With the budget they have, they could actually throw skateboarding in as a mini-game in GTA6. haha. I hope they keep the quality high and that the loss of Dan Houser doesn't cause too many problems.
Vice City has an amazing soundtrack and atmosphere but the open world gameplay is not anywhere near as good as San Andreas. It has less features, vehicles, weapons, customization, worse cheats and no RPG mechanics. San Andreas never gets boring all these years later.
Really hope that the next GTA is technologically another big step up but in a re-imagined version of Vice City with new areas though (forests, countryside, desert, mountains, suburbs, etc). They've had a lo...
@nommers, PART 2
"It's not like Indiana Jones hasn't had some darker moments either like in the temple of doom or the end of the last crusade." I knew that you would bring that up but you've just said it yourself, "darker moments". There's contrast. The new TR games have a grim, oppressive atmosphere throughout most of their runtime. There's nothing wrong with that but that's not the same as having some dark moments.

@nommers, PART 1
NOTE: This is very long response. It's a good read. haha. Tbh, I've gotten a bit too carried away. We're both entitled to our own opinions. That being said ...
This conversation is like having an argument about a game being repetitive. "That's not a fair criticism. All game's are inherently repetitive!" Sure, but it's all a matter of degree. I think that the new TR games are polished but very bland with ...
@nommers
I've explained in great detail why I strongly disliked the writing. You ignored all of that with a very reductive response so ... we're just going to have to agree to disagree.
The new TR trilogy doesn't have an Indiana Jones vibe at all, btw. The main music theme alone is enough to verify that that isn't true. A game series with a notable emphasis on survival mechanics (especially early on in each game) that remained extremely g...
You put it a lot more succinctly that I did. "Flat" is the perfect word to describe the writing.
@nommers
I'm not saying that the old games had a stellar narrative but the new trilogy's attempt to emulate the Uncharted games didn't work. There were no interesting or likable characters and, most importantly, the story was just bland. These are the only games that I've played where I've been put off by the ludo-narrative dissonance.
There's a point in ROTR were she gasps at a random person being killed while she goes around like...
Polished but very generic games. There was some decent puzzle sections from Rise onwards but overall the games really lacked personality and the writing wasn't great. Really not a fan of Crystal Dynamics anymore.
So glad that this turned out well. Pro Skater 5 seems like such a long time ago now (may Robomodo continue burning in hell).
To those who are interested in partaking:
So here I am ....
"I buy new consoles to buy new games!!!" I hope we get full backwards compatibility with great PS consoles
Sony promised that promised that the "overwhelming majority of the 4,000+ PS4 titles" will work. It's hard to know if that means ~99%, 70-80%, etc. I really hope that they've worked out the kinks on that because I want to give my younger brother my PS4 when I get a PS5.
It's a joke that there isn't PS1 backwards compatibility though and they basically gave up on PS2 titles on PS4. And if the PS5 really is that powerful, they should be able to deve...
"but really the only difference is the inclusion of first party exclusives on day one for GamePass" That's factually not true. There's a huge difference in the amount of content being regularly added and a lot of games on Game Pass are added on their release day (multiple games this month) which really increases how useful the service actually is.
As I said, I'm a PS guy and I have a limited interest in Xbox (I used to love Halo but that's about it...
"Resident Evil 7 biohazard is available until November 30, 2020." Less than 3 months for a game that came out almost 4 years ago.
"Final Fantasy XV is available until March 1, 2021."
I'm a PS guy but I don't think Sony is adding games fast enough to balance out how quickly they're leaving the service. And unlike most streaming services, their internally made stuff isn't all on PS Now either.
Don't get me wr...
Are people actually still using bots on N4G to spam dislikes?
It would be best to keep an eye on TheQuartering. haha
Oh my God. Not the fans!
Was gonna say that same thing
