I think every level headed person,fanboy or not knows this move was out of desperation. when you see your competitor moving more consoles by a 5 to 1 margin, you have to do something to get your product moving, I'm actually surprised MS didn't go their normal route of attacking via commercials then again it hasn't helped them in the tablet and smart phone arena too much...
