Yeah your saying Gears will always be ahead of RFOM. But you see this time both games were worked on for about two years. One would think since the PS3 is supposed to be the more powerful console that RFOM look leaps and bounds better then GEars2 but it doesn't. Anyways I'm not trying to knock the game but don't see how this hands down takes away the prize.
How is Rfom2 the fps of the year when Farcry2 was very impressive and L4D still can end up being a sleeper hit. Also this game should be compared to GEars2 since there both shooters regardless of there perspectives. All you guys want to distance them apart but if Gears sucked you would of been talking a different tune.
Well that all depends on if you prefer keyboard and mouse or the 360 controller. For me it's 360 all the way regardless of the perks of owning a PC. There's just something about playing on 360 and Live that feels so satisfying.
The real question is why should I waste my time replying to such an annoying person. Gears is nothing like Killswitch other then taking cover and being in 3rd person lol. The gameplay, story, and multiplayer are simply one of a kind and if you can't see that then I suggest you pick up a 360 and try it. You see Gears was made for 360 so obviously if you wanted to enjoy it you would need one and not a pc. Who are you to speak for 2.1 million people anyway and just how do you know all pc gamers ...
It's not a matter of how many games you have but more about how many great games you have for everyone. Sure PS3 has some decent games out but honestly 360 steals the show. I understand lightning said some fanboy crap but don't discredit an amazing lineup this year for 360.
This is going to be my fps shooter of the year. Can't wait to pick it up and hop on live.
I played the demo for my 1st time on Live and must say the game blew me away. I wasn't expecting it to be that good but was totally wrong. Heck I've played quite a few games lately and can't believe all the great stuff coming out. looks like i will be going to blockbusters to trade some stuff in since there the only place that actually gives you a good amount of money back unlike rip off gamestop and crazy.
Now a days being a PC only gamer is just like being a wii gamer lol. This is the console generation and you sir appear to be out of touch. Nobody cares what PC gamers think anymore just like nobody cares about what games are on the Wii. DO yourself a favor and get out of the house for once. There's nothing sadder then a freaking nerd trying to give his worn out opinion and sound like an idiot against 2.1 million gamers just today. There's nothing like Gears so get over it.
I'm so hyped for this game simply because it has the potential to be the scariest zombie game ever created. Sure dead Island 360 is next but for now L4D will do just fine and be my shooter of the year. I really doubt it come's to PS3 though and if so then oh well.
Those are some really impressive figures for day one sales. I'm simply loving the game all around from story, to horde, to even the freaking gore packed levels that are so freaking amazing. I really hope that part 3 is released on the next box but who knows.

What does this news have to do with fraking LBP? So tired of hearing about that boring azz looking game already. Oh and it's not even close to a Mario level so please drop it already. If you like it then fine but stop smearing every thread with this hype for a game that will end up like the wii and not be played but a couple of times.

And the same could be said about the way overratted LBP. At least Banjo's an actually game and not just a 2d piece of crap where really the only fun comes in for those that like to make levels. SUre this has nothing to do with it but you should think before you talk sometimes. LBP will end up like the Wii just sitting there.
There are just way to many Sony fanboys in the industry now. You can't even find an honest review score (LBP,RFOM2)anymore because of them or the ones afraid to upset the Sony fanbase. Thank Gooodness for 360 and the ability to look past all this bias and form our own opinions.

That would totally turn me off as well. Dumb Ai should be a hing of the past but I guess all the people who disagreed with you just don't care. Visually it looks ok to me but after hearing the few negatives I have I really am starting to wonder why in the heck it got such high scores.
